Daramis co-creates the contemporary face of Prague: new projects from Střížkov to Smíchov
For more than two decades, Daramis has been influencing the shape of the capital through architecturally sophisticated residential projects. Among its projects are award-winning buildings such as Marina Island and Prague Marina Nova, and new developments such as L1FE House, ESENS Letná or a luxury development directly on the Smíchov waterfront are in the pipeline. All of them are united by an emphasis on high standards of living and timeless design.
One of the most striking projects at the moment is L1FE House in Prague's Střížkov district, which has recently received a building permit. Construction will begin in the summer and will deliver 347 apartments with an emphasis on functionality, sharing and community living. The project will include co-working spaces, social zones, a fitness center, a game room and a laundry room - concepts that address the needs of modern urban dwellers. "Today's urban dwellers don't just want to live, but also to share, create and live in community. L1FE House will offer them a full-fledged facility to do so," says Dušan Krajča, CEO of Daramis. Not only young people and investors, but also families have shown interest in the project in the first phase of the sale.
In cooperation with Neocity, another residential project is being prepared Connect Vršovicewhich will build on the industrial past of the district and create a total of 316 residential units on an area of 23,000 m². The modern architecture will be in harmony with the historical context and the aim is to naturally develop Vršovice as an attractive urban location.
The year 2026 will bring attention to Letná - one of the most desirable parts of Prague - where ESENS Letná. The project with 150 apartments is inspired by the essence of this district: tranquilitygiven by the proximity of Stromovka, elegance in architectural concept and details, Inspiration of the city life full of cafes and culture, and connectivity - i.e. excellent accessibility and amenities.
Daramis' most ambitious undertaking, however, is the acquisition of an exclusive plot of land on Smíchovdirectly on the banks of the Vltava River with views of Vyšehrad, the Dancing House and Prague Castle. The aim is to build here a branded residence - a type of development that combines luxury living with world-class brands in design, hospitality and fashion.
"We want to create an exceptional project that will meet the highest international standards, but at the same time will sensitively relate to the Prague context," adds Krajča.
Daramis thus confirms once again that it is one of the key players in the field of quality urban development - whether it is affordable housing, community spaces or premium residences with an exceptional location.
